Any time a person with immigration concerns is accused of a crime in Virginia, you definitely need to be very cautious about how you handle the situation. Reckless driving is in fact a criminal offense that you’re accused of. It’s not just a traffic ticket like speeding or something like that. Only an immigration lawyer can properly advise you about how a misdemeanor conviction or charge might affect your immigration status or your student visa status.
