Read this page carefully. To be considered for this position, you must follow the directions below on this page. I don’t mean to be anal here, but I need a VA who can follow instructions well. And this page will help me organize the submissions from potential candidates.
My work
I encourage you to browse my website (and Google me) to get a feel for me and my work. I am a solo attorney in Fredericksburg, Virginia. I work out of my home office.
My law practice primarily consists of traffic defense. This is a high volume practice, so I have lots of cases and clients to manage.
Job duties
I am still figuring out exactly what a VA would do for me. I would value a VA who can help me figure out ways to use his/her services.
These are some tasks I would immediately want you to handle:
- Entering prospective client & client info into my database
- Entering business cards, etc into my contact system
- Helping with my mileage log for the IRS
- Managing some direct mail
- Helping with social media and blogging
As I become comfortable with your work, I hope to use you for more tasks, such as:
- Helping process email
- Calling court clerks to check dates and gather other info
- Contacting clients to confirm appointments, request documents, etc
Hours
To begin with, I expect to have around 3 hours of work per week for you. I hope this will grow as I find more ways to utilize your help.
Some of the work will need to be done during East Coast business hours, but most can be done any time.
