Small Claims Court
Each of Virginia’s lowest level trial courts (general district court) has a small claims division.
If you have a Virginia small claim, you can easily file suit in general district court with a warrant in debt. Procedure in the general district court is fairly relaxed, so proceeding pro se is possible.
